Official Hero Making Contest

This is technically the 2nd Official contest, but the first was so long ago that it's most likely been forgotten.

Hero Creation Contest
Start Date: Mar 05, 2005
End Date: Mar 31, 2005

Rules
Create an original hero . This means 4 spells, 1 ultimate at Level 6. The hero must be balanced to fit in perfectly with a melee game, and must fit a form of role, much like the other hero.

Specifications:
-10 Levels
-4 Spells in Melee Standard setting (3:3 Levels, 1:Ultimate (Lv6))

The hero may use either basic or triggered abilities (or a combination of the two). It must also include at least 3 different proper names. Your submitted map must be unlocked for a review of the triggers, else it will be immediately disqualified. Also, you should submit a short documentation describing the hero, its abilities, and its role in melee gameplay.

Grading Criteria
Functionality - [40 Points]
--Your hero must be fully functional. Scripting errors and other various things that cause it to misfunction will be deducted from this section of points. Also it must be multiplayer compatible (only a real issue with triggered spells).

Originality - [15 Points]
--Based on how original your hero is. Also, the relation of your proper names to your hero's race/role will be judged in here.

Fun Factor - [15 Points]
--How much fun your hero is. Would people actually select your hero?

Balance - [15 Points]
--How balanced is your hero? Does it fit into melee play? Is its role defined enough? Does it require the style of microing and macroing that Blizzard's heroes do?

Naturalization - [10 Points]
--How well does your hero fit in? Does it have the natural feel of the sounds and environment that other heroes do?

Documentation - [5 Points]
--Well written tool tips, well described spells/abilities, and of course the small documentation you include with your hero.

Custom Models and Skins will not affect the grading as not everyone has access to the tools to create these. If they help the image of your character, then add them. They will not count for points.

RULES FOR THIS THREAD
Do NOT reply. If you have questions about the contest, PM or email me.
Only reply if you are submitting a hero in a map. Comments, flamming, spam, and anything else that is not an entry will not be tolerated as posts. Violations will result in a temp-ban!

Winners will be announced here. You may submit before the deadline but you will not have any advantage over those who submit on the deadline. Entries will be accepted through 11:59:59PM on March 31, 2005 in Central Standard Time. Any entries submitted after that will be null or void.
Do not post replies asking when the grading will be finished.

I will uphold these rules without respect for veteran status, forum age, or forum respect. The rules and regulations of this contest can be modified at any time by a moderator with or without notification to participants.

The 1st Place winner will get his or her name in the Hall of Fame. Another reward will be in place.

You may choose whether or not your map will be released to the public. By default we will attach the winners maps with the announcement of the victory. Please note in the post in which you submit your map whether you want it released in the Hall of Fame, Or just to have yor name and reason to be there.

Here is my custom hero, her name is Kip and she is a bandit. To get her go to the hero tavern on the map.

did u lock your map? if so could u email me an unlocked vers so i can furthur analize it.

ive graded it but if you would email me the unlocked version i could higher the grade because of the use of the trigger spell. ill pm u your grade. gj
